23 Questions with Bond Collective is a series highlighting the impressive 1,000+ person community spread across the Bond Collective portfolio. The series will feature members from 60 Broad, 55 Broadway, Gowanus and Flatiron locations and Bond Collective employees as well. 23 Questions will explore all different walks of life and show just how unique and vast the Bond Collective network continues to become.
Originally from the suburbs of Boston, Thomas pursued Dance and Art History at NYU and graduated in 2009. Serving as Visual Director of Bond Collective, he is a creative consultant across many mediums including design, film/photo and dance. Recent collaborators include Document Journal, MILK Studios, Velem, Steven Meisel, Myla Dalbesio, Anne Imhof, Band of Outsiders, Diego Villareal, The Last Magazine, Penny Arcade, NOWNESS, Ryan McNamara, MoMA PS1, Daniel Vosovic, YouDoYou, Hello Mr., Ali Stroker, The Dance Cartel, Yoko Ono, Tom Ford and The Public Theater. His personal and choreographic work is in development with the help of NYC’s dance community at large. You can usually find him arranging furniture or taking photographs at any Bond Collective location.
1 – First thing you do in the morning?
I stretch for about 5 minutes in my bedroom.

9 – How do you unwind after a long day of work?
I watch Vice news on HBO while making myself dinner.
10 – What’s your lucky charm?
Elephants. I have Elephants all over my house.
11 – What inspires you?
Forms and color.

13 – Best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?
Never ASSUME, it makes an ASS out of yoU and ME!
14 – How long did it take you to get to work this morning?
40 minutes.
15 – When’s the last time you celebrated a win?
The release of a short film I made for Document Journal in March and the start of my next one for the fashion brand, Band Of Outsiders.
16 – If you could squeeze one more activity into your daily life, what would it be?
Take a dance class.
17 – If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Navy Blue
18 – What is the most interesting thing about you?
After graduating NYU, I worked professionally as a fashion model and dancer for 8 years.
