23 Questions with Bond Collective is a series highlighting the impressive 1,000+ person community spread across the Bond Collective portfolio. The series will feature members from 60 Broad, 55 Broadway, Gowanus and Flatiron locations and Bond Collective employees as well. 23 Questions will explore all different walks of life and show just how unique and vast the Bond Collective network continues to become.
Jennifer Jolorte is the Operations Manager at Rentshare and a member at Bond 60 Broad. Originally from San Diego, Jenn attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. Post college Jenn began work in Los Angeles recruiting for startups and moved to New York five years ago to continue her professional journey. At Rentshare, Jenn and the team run a platform which provides the easiest way for landlords and property managers to accept credit cards and collect rent online (Bond Collective members will recognize the name!) Jenn oversees customer service, account management, and everything in between.
Outside of Bond 60 Broad, Jenn is a talented yoga instructor with a passion for wellness. She also enjoys reading, anything to do with good food (cooking, dining, eating), and loves travel. Jenn lives in the Lower East Side can be found in the neighborhood walking her dog Louis and at Kiki’s or Forgetmenot if she is having a night out. At Bond 60 Broad, Jenn is often in a booth or window seat, always carrying her favorite mug. Jenn loves how friendly the members and staff are across Bond Collective locations, and that no one feels like a complete stranger. Jenn has a magnetic presence, her contagious laugh and quick wit combined with a huge heart have led to her becoming a close friend and honorary member of the Bond Collective family. We asked Jenn a few questions…
1 – First thing you do in the morning?
Unfortunately – check my phone. I typically sleep a lot earlier and wake up earlier than a lot of my friends, so I want to make sure I address things before I start my day. I cuddle my dog Louis and he gives me lots of kisses!
2 – Top 3 songs to listen to when you need to get work done?
I’m a huge proponent for Spotify playlists. My favorite yoga playlist is ‘Lush Vibes’ and if I want to be energized I’ll play ‘Fresh Electronic’ they always add the newest songs so it is a good mix of upbeat music.
3 – Favorite coffee shop and go to order?
Little Canal in my neighborhood and I always get a black coffee, iced or hot.
4 – Gmail or Outlook?
Gmail always.
5 – App you can’t live without?
Transit – it helps me figure out what Citibikes are available and where in conjunction with Google Maps.
6 – First job?
Subway – Yes. I was a sandwich artist.
7 – Favorite lunch spot?
I typically try to bring my lunch everyday – I think it’s important to make yourself good food, but if I forgot my lunch I’d say Num Pang, Digg Inn or Dos Toros.
8 – Early or late?
I’m always early or on time.
9 – How do you unwind after a long day of work?
Yoga, hang out with my dog, and cook myself a good meal – typically all three every night.
10 – What’s your lucky charm?
My boyfriend Peter, he is my biggest supporter.
11 – What inspires you?
Everything! I’ve always read a lot of biographies and autobiographies – nowadays lots of interviews and podcasts of influential entrepreneurs and leaders are extremely inspiring. I love hearing stories how people accomplish their goals.
12 – Social Media account everyone should be following?

13 – Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Remember to always have your own back.
14 – How long did it take you to get to work this morning?
20 minutes – I live in the Lower East Side so its either a walk, Citibike or bus ride over here
15 – When’s the last time you celebrate a win?
A new yoga opportunity!
16 -If you could squeeze one more activity into your daily life, what would it be?
I wish I could be in nature more- daily beach walks or hikes – I used to do that everyday in CA
17 – If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Purple, my favorite color or Turquoise
18 – What is the most interesting thing about you?
Um… I’m an only child and most people say that they don’t really consider me one? I have a small hole like where I had a pierced earring at the top of my right year that I was born with.
19 – Last show you binge watched?
House of Cards!
20 – Biggest Cheerleader?
Oops I already said my boyfriend, other than that my dear friends!
21 – Call or text?
